I saw the trailer for Wolverine and the X-Men, and even blogged about it here. I agree, it does look cool. Without torrent, I wonder how long before I see it ...?

Well, they're making Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow, an animated film for later this year, and an animated Hulk film for next year – I'll certainly watch them … when they finally come out over here in the UK.

It is a shame that comic books aren't adapted well into animation, especially as I believe that it is a perfect medium for the dynamics and supernormal aspects of the superhero.

At least the Lionsgate films (Ultimates, Iron Man and Doctor Strange) made a decent stab at making a feature-length film. They didn't succeed, but it was good to see they existed.

I've been frustrated with animated versions of comic books for a long time. The TV shows often seem like they are marketed for a non-comic reading audience, and the movies are bizarrely limited to only 80 minutes, when the average film is at least 90 minutes.

I really liked Fantastic Four, I must admit. I really like the fun feel of it, and it seems like the animation has more effort being put into it than The Batman or X-Men: Evolution.
